Super 8 Sounds Like a Super Date

Super 8 sounds like a super date! I have no clue as to what it's about, but it looks really awesome. I'm thinking it may be an Alien type of movie. After seeing Battle LA and Paul, hopefully this will be worth my money.

Here is the trailer if you haven't seen it yet.

Rest In Peace Sony Rolly, The Dancing Music Player

Remember the Sony Rolly, that cute robotic device that could play music and dance at the same time? Well, it wasn't long ago that Sony was marketing the device with very high expectations. However, with the price tag of around $400, and just 2GB of space, plus the sucky dance automation AI, it was tragically a flop. If you wanted your Rolly to dance as good as Michael Jackson, you had to learn how to use the Choreography software that came with it.

May you rest in peace, Sony Rolly

Your Own Pet Lamp, The "Tvor" [Video]

Okay, so maybe the "Tvor" isn't actually a "pet lamp" but it does have the ability to seek out dark areas of a room and point light in that direction, automatically. The only problem with that is once it directs light into that area, the areas around it are now dark, so the thing just wonders around in an endless mission to light everything up. Hell, if they would just ditch the directional lighting AI and add remote control compatibility, the lamp could be pretty awesome. Damn, I can see the potential! I mean, it looks so awesome doesn't it? I want one!

Star Wars Motorized Walking AT-AT By LEGO [Video]

LEGO Star Wars Motorized Walking AT-ATI don't know about you, but I love me some Legos and this Star Wars motorized walking AT-AT really caught my eye. It can walk the walk and talk the talk while looking very sexy at the same time. You can buy yourself one for about $218 on Amazon and on the Lego site you can buy one for even cheaper, however, they currently are sold out for the United States.

Attack Of The Coca-Cola Vending Machine Robot [Video]

Okay, Wtf? In this Japanese video there is a Coca-Cola vending machine robot that likes to blow crap up and protect the nation from evil. Seriously, this is obviously a commercial, but what are they trying to portray? Coca-Cola saves the day? The video series was created in Tokyo back in 2007 as part of a promotional campaign for Coca-Cola. They also had a man in a suit that walked around town scaring away small children.

Yikes! It's a YikeBike, The Future Of Personal Transportation

Oh my future! It's a YikeBike, a futurist looking electric bike that is designed to get you from point A to point B. Did I mention that it is foldable?

With a 6 mile range, a 15mph top speed, and a $3,500 price tag, it ain't cheap, it ain't fast, and it doesn't go far, but it's still the coolest looking bike on the block!

Now, this isn't the bike to just jump on and ride into the sunset, it takes a bit of a learning curve and some practice before trying it out on the streets. The last thing you want to do is pay $3,500 bucks to just crash the thing head on into an innocent pedestrian. Yikes, I wonder if that is why they call it the "YikeBike? Who knows. The only other thing I have to say is that if you like unicycles, then the YikeBike is like a super futuristic unicycle sure to get you from point A to point B. Will it replace the Segway? It's possible, at the least it could offer up some competition.

Here is a promo video for the YikeBike. For more information visit yikebike.com

Cereal Boxes That Light-Up [Video]

Last year at CES 2011, I noticed these awesome cereal boxes that are infused with printable electronics that allows them to light-up.
